DFW Wedding Photographer

Had the pleasure of shooting the Spiak-Lee Nuptials this past weekend.  I LOVE wedding photography!  It is truly an honor to be involved with people on one of the happiest days of their lives.  I feel like I say that a lot, but that's just how I feel.  Love shooting weddings.  It's hard work, but totally worth it.

Here are the lucky wedding couple Dan & Diana.

When photographing a wedding, it is always a plus if the venue is pretty.
This is a little wedding chapel in Rockwall.  Very cute indeed.

This is the bride's son David.  He looked at me like I was crazy when I asked him to kiss his mom on the cheek.  I guess it was awkward...but it made a great image!  It's still okay to kiss your mommy even if you're a grown man!

Happy Bride Diana.  Love the light in this room.  She was already glowing, and the light helps accentuate that.

I don't know...something about the red room and tuxes...they look like "Good Fellas!"

Here's the Groom's brother.  If these two act like this as adults, I bet their mother had her hands full when they were kids!! :)

The ceremony was in this dim little chapel, and when they opened the back doors for the Bride to march in, it was staggering.  A real startling, beautiful surprise.  I think this image does a good job of capturing that.  The Groom must have been beside himself!

Just one of my favorite during the ceremony shots.

My friend Carrie showed me a shot like this two nights before this wedding.  I borrowed the frame off of her wall so that I could re-create it...thanks Carrie!  I like it.  These are the happy couple's three sons holding the frame.  Hers on the left, and his on the right.

Again with the sons.  "Yipee, our folks are hitched!!"

Always looking for somewhere cool to capture the rings.  They had a beautiful cake, and I think this beats the traditional hand over hand ring shot.

Grooms cake...yum!

Mmmmm, bride's cake!  One of my favorite perks about being a wedding photographer.

Happy Happy...

Joy Joy!

What a sweet couple.  I have actually known Dan for many years, and it was a pleasure to get to shoot his wedding.  Great to hang out with a few old friends, and enjoy such a happy occasion.

And lastly, the glowing couple caught in a beautiful sunset.
Congratulations to Dan & Diana and families.  I am happy for you guys, and I appreciate you having be a part of your monumental day.  Love and blessings galore!
