DFW Wedding Photographer

Had the pleasure of shooting the Spiak-Lee Nuptials this past weekend.  I LOVE wedding photography!  It is truly an honor to be involved with people on one of the happiest days of their lives.  I feel like I say that a lot, but that's just how I feel.  Love shooting weddings.  It's hard work, but totally worth it.

Here are the lucky wedding couple Dan & Diana.

When photographing a wedding, it is always a plus if the venue is pretty.
This is a little wedding chapel in Rockwall.  Very cute indeed.

This is the bride's son David.  He looked at me like I was crazy when I asked him to kiss his mom on the cheek.  I guess it was awkward...but it made a great image!  It's still okay to kiss your mommy even if you're a grown man!

Happy Bride Diana.  Love the light in this room.  She was already glowing, and the light helps accentuate that.

I don't know...something about the red room and tuxes...they look like "Good Fellas!"

Here's the Groom's brother.  If these two act like this as adults, I bet their mother had her hands full when they were kids!! :)

The ceremony was in this dim little chapel, and when they opened the back doors for the Bride to march in, it was staggering.  A real startling, beautiful surprise.  I think this image does a good job of capturing that.  The Groom must have been beside himself!

Just one of my favorite during the ceremony shots.

My friend Carrie showed me a shot like this two nights before this wedding.  I borrowed the frame off of her wall so that I could re-create it...thanks Carrie!  I like it.  These are the happy couple's three sons holding the frame.  Hers on the left, and his on the right.

Again with the sons.  "Yipee, our folks are hitched!!"

Always looking for somewhere cool to capture the rings.  They had a beautiful cake, and I think this beats the traditional hand over hand ring shot.

Grooms cake...yum!

Mmmmm, bride's cake!  One of my favorite perks about being a wedding photographer.

Happy Happy...

Joy Joy!

What a sweet couple.  I have actually known Dan for many years, and it was a pleasure to get to shoot his wedding.  Great to hang out with a few old friends, and enjoy such a happy occasion.

And lastly, the glowing couple caught in a beautiful sunset.
Congratulations to Dan & Diana and families.  I am happy for you guys, and I appreciate you having be a part of your monumental day.  Love and blessings galore!

Frisco Senior Portrait Photographer

I got to do a Senior Portrait Session with Chey Ann Wright this past weekend.  It's always cool to spend a little time with kids who are on the cusp of taking on the world.  Chey Ann just got accepted into the Navy!  Pretty amazing.  Good luck and Gods speed Chey Ann.  I am sure you will do great things.

Chey Ann plans to try out for Navy Basketball!  I hope you get it girl.  That would be awesome!!

Here is Chey Ann with her proud Daddy Dennis.  Congratulations to the both of you guys!  Thanks for sharing such a happy, exciting time with me.

Frisco Baby Photographer

Got to hang out with Beckett Garrison last week.  We had a baby photography session to capture his 3 month milestone.  He is growing fast, and still as beautiful as ever.  This is one pretty baby boy!  (It's okay to say pretty if they are still a baby, right?)

In my house we call this the "Big Lip."  Oh no, don't give me the big lip!  That's okay, it makes for a great photo op...especially with that fedora!

Did anyone else watch friends?  I'm pretty sure Beckett was saying "How you doing?"

See?  Pretty baby.

Ah...and finally a smile.  Always my goal at this age to catch at least one great smile.  It is a lot of pressure with lights flashing, a stranger in your face with a camera, and your parents clapping & cooing and demanding smiles.  It's no wonder that we caught this one outside of the studio.

Frisco Family Photographer

Yesterday was a picture perfect day for a photo shoot in Frisco, Texas!  80 degrees and sunny, bright blue sky, a little breeze, and a charming family to spend it with.  I truly love what I do.  Walking around in the park on a pretty day, hanging out with my friend Sean and his two beautiful daughters.  I couldn't have ordered a better day for a family photography session.

Paige, already a heartbreaker at 13, I'm sure.

...and Lucy has a seriously spunky personality.  Adorable.

Aw, I love Daddy's girls.

I love this one.  Looks like a page out of a sailing magazine or something.  I love it when I get to shoot on a day with a perfect blue sky.  Nothing better that a pretty blue sky at sunset.  Doesn't hurt when your subjects are easy to look at too.  :)

Again with the Daddy's girls shot.  Awwww, so sweet.

Sean is blessed with a couple of beautiful, fun girls.  They were fantastic subjects.  I didn't have to set up poses, they were just naturals.  Thanks for sharing them with me.
