Frisco Senior Portrait Photographer

Yesterday I got to do a Senior Portrait Photography Session with some of my best friends and favorite people in the world...(not to mention loyal clients!)  Bo Ehmke is graduating from Centennial this year.  Congratulations Bo!!  Happy for you, and proud of you.
We could not have picked a better day to shoot in Frisco, Texas than yesterday!  It was the kind of day you wish you could place an order for.  Perfection.  Especially for a photographer.  Blue sky's and NO WIND!  Amazing.

Maybe Bo should consider a modeling career...he's a natural!

This was the last shot of the day.  Special request from Bo to make sure we captured his number.  So glad you asked for this one Bo...it is one of my very favorite shots in a long time.

This is Renee & Chad in the background.  Mom & Dad admiring their handy work.

These guys are a glowing example of how to be amazing parents.  Thanks for giving me something to aspire to guys!

You'd never know that they were hiding a rat trap in the background!  Seriously.  Ew.

Bo with his youngest brother Sam.  Sam made a great assistant that day.  Think he's got a part time job in the future if he wants.

Bo and Chad were dodging ants here.  At some point in the shoot we were running from bumble bees, disguising rat traps, or avoiding ants...the only thing missing were the locusts!

K-State Proud!  That's right baby!  Frisco's loss is K-State's gain!

 Look out future...here he comes!

Thanks for letting me be a part in this special time in y'alls life.  I hope that you enjoy this sneak peak of your Senior Portraits.  There were so many good ones, I had a horrible time deciding which ones were my favorites.  You'll have to stay tuned to see the rest of them posted on jenXphotography.com.  :)

Frisco Sports Photographer

Miracle League Baseball season again!  My oldest son Christian was born physically handicapped, and plays baseball with the Frisco Miracle League.  Since he started playing with Miracle League two years ago, I have been one of their volunteer photographers.  This week was Frisco Rough Riders day, so their mascots Deuce & Daisy and some of their players played most of the games with the kids today.

Daisy from the Frisco Rough Riders.  Two sweet girls.  :)

Here's Christian getting some love from Deuce from the Frisco Rough Riders.

Here is Christian getting some tips from the Rough Riders Elio Sarmiento.

And autographed the kids hats too!  What a cool day!

Elio Sarmiento of the Rough Riders.  He seemed like a cool guy.  He was seemingly really happy to be there, and having a good time with all of the kids.

This is our friend Bryce that Christian goes to "Camp Just Like Me" with during the summers.  He was stoked about hitting a home run.  Miracle League Rocks!

I love getting to be a Miracle League Photographer.  Good times!

DFW Newborn Photographer

I got to meet a charming little family today who have recently doubled their size!
These two newborns were a real logistical challenge today, as far as baby photography goes.  They did not feel like sleeping at all, so catching a picture like this posed a pretty good challenge for me.  Aren't they beautiful?  Just spending an hour with them made me happy I was the photographer, and not the new parent re-visiting those sleepless nights.  Hang in there guys...it will pass before you know it!

One of each...an embarrassment of riches!

We tried to put them both in the basket at the same time, but they were too healthy!

Thanks to the Miller family for sharing their new babies with me!  Hope you guys get some rest.  :)

Frisco Senior Portrait Photographer

It's that time of year...Senior Portraits!  I had the pleasure of shooting Emmit Jack's Senior Pictures here in Frisco last night.  He is about to graduate from Wakeland and go study architecture at UT Arlington.  Congratulations to Emmit and his whole family.  I love this time of year.  So full of hope and promise.
Look out world...here he comes!

Frisco Portrait Photographer

I had the privilege of shooting Shannon and her horse Lucy this week.
Of all of the portrait photography I have done over the years, this was my first experience shooting portraits with a horse.  Aside from shooting a Rodeo, this was my first opportunity to work with a horse.  What I learned was that shooting horses is a lot like shooting newborns.  They can not be bribed or reasoned with...you have to be patient, and wait for them to do what you want.
I truly enjoyed it, and hope that the opportunity presents itself again.

A big thank you to Shannon and her parents Ernie and Christy for giving me the chance to work with you guys.  Hope you guys enjoy this sneak peak of your images.  I will let you know as soon as I get the complete sitting up on jenXphotography.com

Frisco Event Photography

One of my favorite family's Baptized their daughter this weekend, and I had the honor of being the photographer for the event.  Here are a a few of my favorite images from her big day.

...see, she loves me already!
Mom and Godmother helping her get fancied up!

I snuck in a quick shot from the front of the church while the
priest was getting the Baptismal water ready.

What a good girl!  They said she laughed the whole time.

 What a blessing!

Just hanging with her God Parents.

In the courtyard with Mom & Dad after the event.
You would never know the wind was blowing 30+ mph!

And one with her big brothers Wyatt and Griffin too.
Griffin just had confirmation this weekend too.
A very special weekend, for a very special family.

Gary and Maryann showing off their beautiful girl.

I'm pretty sure Sophia is edible.

Just another day in paradise.

Special thanks to the Gregory family for letting me be a part of such a special time in their lives.
It was a pleasure meeting the rest of your families.
I will let you guys know when I have the rest of the photography from your event on jenXphotography.com for you to view.
