Frisco Portrait Photographer

Man...It's hard to find the time to blog this time a year.  Crazy, Crazy, Crazy!!  I couldn't resist throwing up these pics of Kaitlyn.  I have been shooting Kaitlyn since she was about 3.  If I was to go dig up our first shoot, I would have to look through my negatives.  Technology is not the only thing that has come a long way since then!  This photography session here in Frisco was to mark Kaitlyn's 14th birthday!  Hard to believe.  What a beautiful girl you are growing into Kait! :)

Frisco Family Photographer

I was blessed enough to shoot the family of one of my dear friends from High School this past week.  Fitting that such an awesome guy would have such an amazing family.  Meet the Christiano's.

Gene, Amanda, Graham & Quinn.

Proud and sopping with personality, big brother Graham.

...and the insanely adorable baby sister Quinn.  Mom and I had a good time playing dress up with her.  I love my job!  I get to live vicariously through others with all of the fun baby girl stuff.

Sometimes everyone needs a good scream!

If I hadn't caught that last picture of Quinn being sad, I might have wondered if she ever is.  She gave us loads of good smiles and giggles.  Especially rare for a baby in an evening session.  She did magnificent!

I found myself smiling right along with her while I was editing these images.  What a sweetie.

Thanks for sharing your family with me Gene!  You guys are adorable.  Look forward to getting to hang out with you all again sometime soon.  :)

Friso Family Photographer

I was blessed to spend the evening before Thanksgiving with my second family, The Ehmke's.  Here are six of my very favorite people on the planet.
It was another installment of dueling photographers behind Babe's.  There were so many photographers that had we been shooting one family it would have looked like a press conference or the paparazzi...crazy!!  We got lucky with a picture perfect evening.  Good thing, because we crammed a lot into one hour.

On to the second shoot location, Frisco Commons.  This is a great place to spend "the magic hour" right before sunset.  Here is the Ehmke's version of Modern Family.

Love, love, love these jumping pictures.  I laughed my head off when I was selecting images.  This set up works awesome for these guys because of the balance of having 6 people...and because of their stupendous  personalities!!  They are also my only family that I can have make a true pyramid...awesome!

I wish I could do this with my family for my Christmas card.  It's begging for an excellent caption.
I'm having fun just looking at it.

This felt like a real guerrilla photo shoot.  We ran from location to location trying to cram all we could into a beautiful evening.  Thanks for letting me bark orders at you for an hour!  "Quick...over here!!"

Aw well, I think it payed off.  What a beautiful image, a beautiful evening, a beautiful family, and a beautiful life.  I love you Ehmke Family.  xxoo

Frisco Family Photographer

This is a family photo session that we did the other day over behind Babe's.  The area has become very popular for photographers.  It was kind of a dueling photographer's situation.  This is my friend Jeremy and his boys Noah & Nathan.  I don't know about them, but I had a great time on this shoot.  These are some funny boys!

This was actually taken toward the end of the photo session, when Noah and Nathan had had enough of their ties.

A little "Stand By Me" action.

Sorry Nathan, I had to share.  Every time I look at this image I crack up.  This was a "Planking" attempt gone horribly wrong!  For future reference...don't try planking on Rail Road tracks.  Doesn't go over quite right.  :)

That's right, we bad!

Turned out to be the perfect evening for a shoot.  You would never know from this image that it was raining that morning.

And finally, fun with silhouettes.

Frisco Senior Portrait Photographer

Well, I have been way too slammed to blog lately, but I could not resist posting this Senior Portrait Photography Session.  Meet Libby Greenleaf.  She is the incredibly sweet, smart, motivated daughter of a good friend of mine.  She has lots of aspirations, and I am quite sure she has a bright future, but I told her she could always fall back on modeling!  It took a great deal of time to choose my favorite images from this photo session.  This young lady doesn't take a back picture.  Yeah for me!!

My assistant, Sam, didn't have any complaints about work that day!  (Not that he ever does, but you know what I'm sayin'.  Not a hardship to hang out in the park with a beautiful girl.)

Here's the rest of the beautiful family.  Love these guys...Proud Mom & Dad: Teresa and David, and younger brother Seth.

Did I say modeling potential? Hello!!

It was a ridiculously windy afternoon.  We had originally planned the shoot for the Dallas Arboretum, but There were 40mph gusts on that day.  This is Frisco Commons Park.  Great place to shoot on a windy day.  Most of the wind is blocked, and that which isn't can make for a nice effect.

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation Libby.  Best of luck on your future adventures.  Thanks for sharing such a happy hopeful time of yours and your families lives with me.  It was an honor to capture these memories for you.

Dallas Family Photographer

I'm going to call this session "What's cookin' with the Sapio's?"
The answer?  Lots!
This is one of my favorite families.  Never a dull moment!

I was thrilled when I caught this shot.  There is a history of being challenged to get both kiddos looking and smiling.  Let's face it, I was challenged with getting Luke to smile at me before Leo even got here!  Luke has his own plan about when and where he is going to do anything!

Aw, sweet boys!  You'd never know they would be trying to kill each other in 5, 4, 3...

I Love Daddy!

GET OFF!! He's MY Daddy!

I win!!

Aw, sweet boys again.
There is a distinct possibility that Mom, Melissa, feels as if she is riding a roller coaster on any given day.
Lot's of good stuff, and lot's of crazy stuff.  Good thing the crazy stuff is good stuff too.

Hey, look...Mom let us on the kitchen counter!

And now to the title, "what's cookin' with the Sapio's?"  Cookies actually.

Who doesn't love sitting on the counter and making cookies.  You never know who the next Amazing  Chef may be.  This will be a great image to have later, if it is one of these guys.

I love all baby feet.  Just want to eat em up...and coated in flour?  Bonus!

Double trouble.

I absolutely love what I do, but it is not every day that I am sorting through images and laugh out loud!  This one definitely got me.  Several times!  Laughing right now.  Awesome.

Look out world!  The Sapio's have another bun in the oven!  Cheesy euphemism, but fitting in this situation.  That's really what's cookin' with the Sapio's, and I can't WAIT to meet her.  Hurray!  Seriously.  So excited.

That's right...all that work to put together an adorable Christmas card.  Ready or not, it's that time of year again.  Thanks for a fun family session Sapio family, and I promise I won't schedule you for the day after Halloween again...for both of our sakes!  ;)
